Strain sensors enable the instant measurement of loads on load-bearing systems and transport vehicles. By ensuring that loads are always within safe weight limits, they help prevent possible accidents and legal violations.

When used in vehicle weighing systems, strain sensor allow real-time monitoring of weight changes through indicators placed inside the cabin. They are mounted between the axle and trailer and operate by converting the force applied by the load on the axle into weight data. They perform excellently when normal scales are not available or when the weight of the load changes during use. They can also be integrated with GPS tracking systems to enable remote weight monitoring. It is also possible to equip the vehicle weighing system with optional wireless data transmission systems.
