Our Management Approach

When a scale weighs wrong, the customer remembers it for years.

Nobody remembers that it arrived on time. We make our decisions according to that fact.

01 — Principle

Technical accuracy is not negotiable

In a manufacturing company most arguments happen between two things: meeting the delivery date and shipping the product as it should be. At Weilo the outcome of that argument is decided in advance. A product that fails the test is not shipped, even if the customer is waiting. This decision is not left to the sales team.

02 — Principle

Critical parts are not outsourced

The load cell body, the measuring element and the embedded software stay in house. Outsourcing them looks like a saving in the short term; in the long term it makes a company a stranger to its own product.

03 — Principle

A promise is put in writing

Delivery time, technical specification and warranty terms are written in the quotation. We do not run business on verbal agreement; if a disagreement arises, both sides should have a document to look at.

04 — Long term

Discontinued products are still supported

Keeping spare parts for an old model is costly and brings no short-term gain. We keep them anyway. When the load cell of a scale sold twenty years ago fails, the customer does not have to replace the whole system.

05 — Customers

Who we work with

Some of our customers are repair shops buying a single load cell, some are contractors installing a hundred-tonne scale, and some are OEM manufacturers integrating weighing into their own machine. Their expectations differ, but all three ask the same question: is this number correct?
